Man, lot of teenage girls working at Premiere.

I'm no horror expert but shouldn't a list like this begin with THE THING?

If I'm not mistaken, it's the best horror movies remade, as in the best ones that have been remade. As in, the originals were up for competition and the remake is just what qualified them. That doesn't make sense, but I think that's what they were going for.

Did you ever think of the implications of such a list, though?

I'm still trying to figure out if the list was supposed to be any good movie that was remade, or not. But even the originals of most of the ones they listed weren't great. Like Dark Water and The Fog.

The funniest thing about the list is that it listed Ju-On: The Grudge as the remake of the Grudge, when it was really just Ju-On... which came out 4 years before that. Although admitedly it takes a lot to get your head around all the versions of that friggin' series.

Would you really describe the '94 FRANKENSTEIN as a remake of the '31 version?

Nice to see The Blob remake get some love, but leaving off The Fly and The Thing is criminal.

That would make the inclusion of 13 Ghosts even more baffling.

This is one of the stupidest lists I've ever seen. Most choices don't even make sense.

I LOVE THE BLOB '88.Does nobody else share my love for this movie?

Yeah, I do believe the list is ranking the greatest horror films that ever got a remake. They're not ranking the remakes themselves, which is pretty obvious when you read the disdain they have for many of them. Either way, it's a stupid idea for a list.

And then "The 15 Greatest Scary Flicks Ever Remade" has a question mark after it on the slideshow.

The original Dark water was an excellent film, just a little too understated for most people.
