My geek-o-meter just went all the way to 11. One of my favorite books, coupled with one of my favorite writers. Damn, it's good to be a Straczynski fan these past couple of days.

You could make a good movie out the material in that book, but there's too many good stories that are going to have to get the axe. A television series or miniseries could give a fair shake to the different accounts without getting bogged down in typical theatrical trappings. Needing to focus on a main character, adding a love interest, and/or including a wise-cracking minority sidekick could really thin things out.

I completely agree. When I was reading that book, I thought a Band Of Brothers style HBO series would just be perfect. Right down to having a couple of old guys talk about what happened in the episode. That would be sweet.
