The beginning of that article started to give me hives. But I like what the director had to say about the project. And I do agree with the final sentiment that some of America needs to be reminded of what Manson was. We might think about delivering that message in the form of a shovel to the face, but a movie could work too.

Maybe Scott Kosar's cult can convince him to get his ass moving on that mooted "Crazies" remake.

Not to be an utter and complete dickface, but I would think that a writer for a horror site would have some kind of understanding as to why Charles Manson is culturally and historically notable, and not blow off his readers' attempts to engage him in discussion about why said fucked-up cult leader is culturally and historically notable.

I blame the Beach Boys.

Absolutely. If they'd just given Manson that record deal, none of this would have happened. Fuckin' Beach Boys.

Can you IMAGINE what that album would have been like?

The fact that these things can be considered culturally significant says a fair bit about the culture they inhabit wouldn't you say?
And to compare Charles Mansons' cultural significance with Tony Danza's is so wrong that to do so is almost Beautiful Art.
