Oh and it's a toss up on which is more gay, NOES 2 or Jeepers Creepers 2.

Clive Barker being gay isn't exactly the most shocking revelation of the century. Not to say his body of work gave it away but you could certainly have found a few things that might have hinted at it.

One would think a homophobic (read "repressed homosexual") bible thumper who writes awful horror fanfic that includes pedophilic type imagery would be aware of "Powder" director, and obvious kindred spirit Victor Salva. wait, you mean disturbing because its such a crappy movie, not because its homosexuality...right? because some people might read that and misinterpret it as you saying homosexuality is disturbing which would be slightly homophobic. while we're on the subject, can i just say that christian youth groups scare me.

This might appeal to only a few of you who are film music nerds, but Jerry Goldsmith wrote a wonderful score for POWDER (seriously) but was known to be notoriously cantankerous (actually I can attest to this because I had the great fortune of meeting him). So right now the thought of him screening the film for the first time is cracking me up.

"Man, this is gay. Vic? Where's Vic? Yeah, Vic, it's Jerry. You got any takes with the shirts on?"

I think it's essential for film composers to be cranky. The Elfman/Raimi/Spider-Man story is amazing.

Back to topic: Sexual identity in slasher films is a fascinating subject. Anyone read Men, Women, and Chainsaws?

This movie is so gay, that its listed in category "Gay Horror" on Amazon.

Also David Hasselhoff is known to keep a copy of it in his anus.
