"Jason of Star Command" - May 8th

Wow, I remember watching this Saturday mornings. And I just noticed "Star Academy" (of which Jason is a spin-off from I think) at Best Buy a couple of days ago by coincidence. Featuring James "Scotty" Doohan and Sid Haig as the bad guy Dragos! It's amazing to remember him from this, then see him as Capt. Spaulding in the Rob Zombie movies.

From the Amazon.com link:

Man, I watched all of those as a kid. I'm afraid to see them again, as they're probably eye-gougingly awful. And unlike people who still love Scooby Doo and GI Joe, I can't make myself like something out of sheer nostalgia. I've tried.

Wasn't Dr. Smith in Space Academy?

Yes he was. I never saw that show. I do remember Jason and I loved it at the time.

Yep, as Commander Gampu. It was a role far from Dr Smith.

After all, he had a mustache.

Man, I had a gigantic crush on her. I think I was about 7-8 when Isis was on the air.

Since they're doing a Shazam! movie and Isis was an integral part of the "52" series (and involved in the Marvel family), I wonder if they'd try to include her character. 'Cause having a hot chick wearing essentially a nightie as her costume is never a bad thing.
