Unfounded anticipation for a Watchmen game? Sign me up!

They should just do Tales of the Black Freighter as an adventure game, and leave it out of the theatrical cut altogether.

I'd play a Rorsarch game if it was smart and had commentary on the dozens of Tough Guy video game characters out there.

Will '86 Nixon and '88 Political Candidate Robert Redford also be playable?

Ecch, Tales of the Black Freighter would make a horrible game. Rorschach could make for an interesting protagonist, though. Manhunt, crossed with some socially conscious? Stab someone in the artery with a broken bottle, and then have an existential crisis.

I think this game could have good potential. As said before Rorschach crossed with Manhunt would be great, and I would definitely buy this game if it had "The Comedian in Vietnam missions".

I'd give a Watchmen title a shot, but I'm amazed that there's no 300 game (yet) for the next-gen systems. I was chatting with a coworker tonight who'd just seen the movie, and when I found out that Return to Glory was PSP-only, I flat-out called it a 'waste'. (Apparently the reviews bore that out.)

I expect that to change though, with the success of the film and Snyder's apparent love of video games. I want some FPS Spartan Action, dammit!

Think of it like a cross between Monkey Island and Eternal Darkness. It's totally doable.

I sell these fine leather jackets... made out of the skin of dead sailors.

Okay, that's brilliant.

Sorry, licensed games do not make me go "got to play that when it comes to the console".

Espically considering it may be based on the movie.

i dont see how a watchmen game would be fun at all...unless there is a Dr. Manhattan's Secrets to Pleasuring a Woman mini game.

I dunno about fun, but it's got potential to be interesting. Which is a whole 'nother ball of wax: Do games have to be fun?

Um, yes! I mean I guess one could argue that a game could also be informative/educational. But I don't think The Watchman game would be going for.

I don't quite get what your going for, why else would you play a game if not for fun?
