Anything I had to add has already been said by Dave B. Though I tend to disagree on Goo Goo Dolls cover of A Million Miles Away being better than the Plimsouls. I was at my local watering hole the other day and the bartender was playing Faces concert videos on the projection screen. To paraphrase Donald "Duck" Dunn, those guys could turn goat piss into gasoline. That said, I don't mind Rod's cover of Down Town Train and I'm as huge a Waits fan as you'll find anywhere.

Papa Roach did a terrible, horrific cover of a Nirvana song. i think it was "Smells like Teen Spirit." Everything was bad about, i don't think that was even a sound check (let alone a single practice) be play it.

I think they also covered 'Gouge Away' by the Pixies. I refuse to listen to it because it's certain to suck, but the masochist in me is curious to see how bad it is.
