At all costs, please avoid this game.

I loved Vendetta, played it for a good chunk of time. Rented Icon last night and was appalled at the lack of originality, play mechanics, and... well, most everything else.

Is Aki still involved with these games?
The first one was a lot of fun. Then they started to fuck around with the gameplay for some reason.

I downloaded the demo for this and felt bad for having disturbed so many electrons for such an uninteresting piece of software.

Nope, EA gave the franchise to EA Chicago (makers of Fight Night) with Icon.

I played Fight For New York to death, and I had high hopes for this. But this "revolutionary" music-timing fight mechanic just sounds gimmicky and stupid to me. It sounds like a case of a new developer wanting to do something different just to separate themselves from the people they inherited the project from. Fuck that. I just wanted a good fighting game with cool music. Was that too much to ask?

I love the look.

The game is totally pants. It gets worse the more you play.
