What's worse, the feds shutting down a legally operating business because of an idiot employee or that the county sheriff's office was working with them.

The case law seems pretty clear: federal law forbidding this trumps local law permitting it.

Maybe it's not so clear. Explain to me - how does a law, effective only in California, applicable only to Californians, fall under the auspices of 'inter-state commerce'? That has to be the most tortured, abused, and twisted clause in the entire Constitution.

I promise I say this not as a stoner or partaker in any narcotics what so ever, this is yet another abuse of federal power brought to you by the 40 billion dollar a year waste of money that is the War On Drugs.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm saying that the courts have upheld this kind of thing for years.
