My favourite part is still the scene after the messenger says "It's delicious!" (about the cake on the sword )where it looks like he is just looking at the cake in awe at it's deliciousness. That and the fancy-hatted hunckback offering me soft-serve.

That SANDLOT version was great. I love the "This is Sparta!" moment with the kids. The Mighty Ducks was was okay, but you are right about it falling apart at the end. It does make me want to watch D2 again.

Last spring I went on a "movies of my childhood" buying spree, which means I now own both D2: The Mighty Ducks AND Heavyweights on DVD. Heavyweights really held up -- it's like a lost Frat Pack/Apatow film, only with kids -- D2, not so much. Still the best of the series, though.

What the fuck is so funny about "This is Cola!!!" or "This is Mushroom Kingdom!!!" ?

Of all the links in this thread, the only funny one is the PG trailer which is, dare I say, actually smart about its execution. All the other ones take the the route that Scary Movie 5 or 6 or whatever will no doubt take, which is: flatly reference the original and hope that recognition alone sparks some sort of laughter from the audience. Yeah... we saw 300 too!
