[WARNING SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST HALF OF BSG SEASON 3]

I thought you were dead!!!

[WARNING DIFFERENT SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE FINAL EPISODE OF BSG SEASON 3]

Wait, nevermind, you were totally alive in the BSG FINALE.

Seriously, the box set of Pee Wee's Playhouse? How many times would you really watch that?

Are you kidding?

I LOVE Pee Wee's Playhouse! I grew up with that show! So, I take it you have no answer to my TWIN PEAKS question. (sigh)

I never picked up the first season of Twin Peaks since it ridiculous lacked the pilot (pretty fucking important to have on a season set) and have been waiting for this. Now that Season 2 is finally out I hope they make an announcement soon about the Complete Series.

It seems like I saw it in

USA TODAY several months back when they announced the 2nd season, but can't be sure. I totally agree. They need to release a definitive complete series with all the shows, promos, both pilots, and so on.

I'm not arguing with the fact that it was on television when you were a kid. I'm just wondering how much use you'd get out of the box set? I can't imagine watching anything I grew up on for more than a couple episodes.

I tried to watch an episode or two of Transformers a couple years ago and I was amazed at how horrible it was (while I remembered it being quite enjoyable).

I just always wonder how someone justifies buying something you'll probably only ever watch once. And if you're going to watch it more than once you just have to wonder why you couldn't find ANYTHING better to watch than your old DVD's of Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Sadly I don't.

I'm weird that way...its actually sad.

LOL! I have way too many dvds, but I have always loved Pee Wee. You are probably right, its just "having them" for me. Like I said, its sort of sad. Having said that I'd still love to see a giant box set of the complete show.I'm sure people like me would make it a pretty good seller! Anyway, thanks for the reply!

My Mom picked this up for me. I haven't watched any of it. Although I was checking ebay for it and found the season 1 set that I own selling for $115.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a complete series set anytime soon, but you never know. I guess it depends how patient you're feeling.

I can't find the article, but it was officially confirmed that there would be a complete set with pilot (tv and movie version) and this year...but they also said the second season would come out the same year as the first. This show is so caught up in red tape it might be advisable to go ahead and buy the second season and a bootleg of the pilot.

Just read on wikipedia that it was announced at comic com that the complete series box set, including BOTH versions of the pilot, will be available in October. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Anybody go to comic con see this announced? Been aching to buy this series, but no pilot on the first season, plus the pretty steep price (115 dollars? for 7 episodes, sans pilot? The fuck?) always kept me from it.

I dunno where I saw it (maybe digitalbits.com?) but I did read that the complete series was coming out, as described above, this year.

Also--Pee Wee has much higher rewatch value than most of the other stuff that was made for us '80s babies. Still, more than 2 episodes at a time will drive the viewer insane.

This site is usually pretty accurate: http://www.lynchnet.com/.

Also, INLAND EMPIRE on August 14 with lots of extras. I am very aroused.

Funny, it was as much as I could do to stay awake during that one.

Here's the site for the box set. I haven't followed Lynch for some time, but can someone tell me what they mean when they say "David Lynch set the look by adding his signature coral hue" to these remasters? That sounds like it might not be awesome. What are they talking about?

They set it under the ocean. Just like Spongebob Squarepants, another David Lynch production.

Can't wait for the set.

12 collectible postcards come in each boxed set (for a limited time, of course) - and they casually suggest we collect all 61? Wow.

Also, I want, I want, I WANT. Although, now I've waited too long to sell my s1 box (and my VHS collection).

I don't know if my heart can take the end of the series, again. I'm still scarred by Coop and the mirror.

Got mine pre-ordered from Amazon. Can't wait.

Mine just shipped. I haven't seen the show since it first ran. Back then, I fucking loved it, so I'm curious to see how much of it holds up.

Damn. From Amazon? I'm guessing you didn't go for the free shipping like I did?

Well, when you guys get it, please let me know what the fucking "signature coral hue added" is all about.
