Not Just the Best of the Larry Sanders Show

Anyone else pick this up today? I didn't have a whole lot of time to dip into it yet, but I did watch one "interview" with Alec Baldwin which was extremely bizzarre, and from what I understand most of the interviews are similarly unusual. Not to mention that there are 23 classic episodes of the show on here, but the majority of the extras seem to be kind of fascinating in a way, and certainly more interesting than what is usually included on TV box sets. I'm greatly looking forward to digging deeper into this set over the weekend.

It's cool to have this on DVD, but I wish it was something a little more definitive than just a best of. Still, it's a hilarious show, so I'll pick this up eventually.

The special features sound really clever, but the inability to get all the episodes cleared for season sets sours me on this effort somewhat.

The necessarily subjective definition of "best" is also an annoyance; as a picayune example, I was dismayed to see that season five's "The Roast" wasn't included in the set. Hank flipping out at all the cheap shots made about him and attacking Jon Stewart is the funniest thing I've ever seen on television ("I don't come down to where you work and slap the dick out of your ass!").
