Damn about time this movie starts to get released. They got done filming here before Katrina hit, so been waiting since then to see it.

has an actor ever won an oscar (or even been nominated, for that matter) for their role in a horror film? I ask because of the pete hammond-esque quote on both posters.

She doesn't give an Oscar performance. Also, this isn't really a horror film.

So basically they're advertising to draw in the horror fans for that big first weekend, and then negative word of mouth will kill the rest of the box office.
