Has anyone purchased from FULL MOON DIRECT?

Before I give my credit card up to Charles Band, I was wondering if any of you CC board members have had any experiences with http://www.fullmoondirect.com ?

Some of their older stuff is only available exclusively through them (I hear that the Australian Open Region discs are just a loop-hole to be able to distribute certain titles), and I want to be able to acquire some of their schlock.

How's the quality of their product (not talking about the actual films, ya smartass snob!), business practices, shipping expediency, etc?

My horror collection just isn't complete until Seed People or SubSpecies is in my hands.

I got the subspecies set and didn't have any problems. Quality is good not great.

Those Subspecies flicks really are horrible, though. Their "Best-of" sets are pretty decent, I reviewed one way back when.

I haven't ordered anything through their catalog but in my experience, they're all pretty friendly and helpful over there.... I wouldn't be concerned about them grabbing your money and running for Mexico or anything.

Well, if they do, I want a Producer credit on Evil Bong 2.

Well what's Subspecies going for... 50-60 bucks? That could produce their next two films. Both of which will include every doll and puppet from every Full Moon movie ever made.

The set includes Subspecies #1-4 plus Vampire Journals for $59.99....
and YES (2 movies atleast)!

Will the *GINGERDEAD MAN have a cameo?

* I'd like to take this time to proudly say that I have not seen the GINGERDEAD MAN...

It's amazingly dull. Gary Busey is in approximately 5 frames, then it's just the voice. And then, it's just...well actually, it's Full Moon, so you already know what to expect.

This made me laugh more than it should've. Good stuff.

Evil Bong, Aliens Gone Wild!, Assault of the Killer Bimbos, The Dead Hate the Living...

Quality. And I mean that.

It's also a hair over an hour lengthwise, with long beginning and end credits if memory serves.

I love me some Puppetmaster, though. And The Dead Hate the Living ain't half bad! Some good zombies.... with one of Matthew McGrory's (unfortunately) few roles.

Yeah, I really did like The Dead Hate the Living. I recall a friend of mine (the only other person I'd met who'd seen it) once said it was would happen if "our people" made a DTV horror film.
