The 100 Best Cameos In Film History - Page 3

So I take it none of you have seen "She's Having a Baby". The veritable parade of cameos at the end of that film is astonishing: Bill Murray, Kate Bush (!), Dan Ackroyd, Matthew Broderick (as Ferris Bueller!), and on and on...

I actually saw that in the theater. It's a testament to how forgettable it is that I even forgot that.

I have a real blink and you'll miss it, Steven Spielberg in Vanilla Sky. Tom Cruise's way of reminding you that he can't ever stop reminding you that he's Tom Cruise.

Cronenberg was in that one as well.
Sam Raimi, The Coens and Terry Gilliam all show up in Spies Like Us.

I wonder if that one was just a fun little thing they did with each other's movies.

I posted this in the Minority Report thread, but both Cameron Crowe & Cameron Diaz (from Vanilla Sky) cameoed in Minority Report. Crowe was the guy on the train reading the futuristic newspaper, and Diaz is supposedly the blonde behind him (got it off IMDB).

I'm curious, what part of the film is Spielberg in?

He shows up at Cruise's party.
He's even got a line when Cruise greets him. Like "Hey you son of a bitch!", or something like that.

*edit- and yeah that is Diaz in Minority report. You can barely see her though. Good thing too, because she would have been distracting, unlike Crowe, who nobody but people like us would recognize him.

I remember having to rush to check IMDB when I saw George A Romero in Silence of the Lambs.

Spike Jonze in "The Game"...the paramedic who checks out Michael Douglas at the end.

And since I'm on Fincher...

Andrew Kevin Walker in "Panic Room" as the neighbor

Just caught Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy again for the first time in years, and while it has its problems Brendan Fraser's zit-faced greasy-haired cameo is brilliant.

True. But actually, I loved Ben Stiller's cameo just a little more. "Como estan, beetches?"

I loved Quentin Tarantino's cameo in Sleep With Me - the whole homoeroticism argument of Top Gun was hilarious.

James Spaeder in Bob Roberts is hands down my favorite cameo.
