I Need Opinions on a Couple of Cars

I'm in the market for a car and I need some input from my trusted fellow Chewers.

Cars that I'm looking at:

Mazda RX-8
Audi TT Roadster
Infiniti G35
Nissan 350Z
Ford Mustang

I'm looking at used ones, probably around 2004-2005. Most that I've seen have been in the 20-25K price range. My preference is for a convertible model, but I'm open to just having a sunroof (hence the RX-8) if it's the right car at the right price.

Do you have any experience with any of these vehicles, good or bad? Do you have other suggestions of similar vehicles that I should consider?

I didn't realize that Mustangs ran on meth as an alternative fuel source.

My friend got an Infiniti G35 for his graduation present, that car is hot shit. I didn't drive it myself, but it was fast and really comfortable on the inside. Also, it seemed like it was pretty good at doing donuts, which I know is very important for your decision to buy a car.

Another friend/coworker of mine is really big on the Infiniti G35. Right now, my top 2 contenders are the Infiniti and the Audi. I've heard really mixed things on the RX-8...some love it, some loathe it. I've driven the Mustang, but I wasn't overly impressed with the ride. I've really not heard anything at all on the Nissan, other than it 'looks cool'.

We own a 350z and aside from the looks and performance its really not very functional. Hands down I would go with the G35 (Sedan?) Audi's are nice as hell but overpriced. Bang for the buck a used G is nice.

I have an Infifnti G35 and love it. I have had no problems with it all and it is fun to drive. A guy I work with also has one and seem too love it also. According to what I have heard and read (check out Consumer Reports for information on possible problem areas with the car) Audis are nice but can have some issues. I whole heartily recommend the G35, can not go wrong with it.

I'll chime in with love for teh G35. My wife has an FX35, but whenever it goes in for scheduled maintenance, they loan her a G35, and that thing is double-D tits.
