Heh.... I'm a member at that forum. There's a lot of good stuff there. Including some skinny white kid who claimed he was military pressing 100 pounds. Thing is is that you couldn't see the ends of the barbell in the photos so people just ripped into him. It was a glorious breakdown.

It's not your post specifically, 70sCinema. It's that thread. If Patrick nailed Bele-I-can't-spell-this-whole-thing-at-the-moment-ethiel, that really isn't something for the entire CHUD messageboard to know. And if it's a joke, it's still pretty damn creepy.

Someone (70sCinema?) commented on whether Soy was still a virgin. Since he has said he isn't, and that was posted on these boards, I just clarified that for him.

How did that become some idea that I was in a sexual relationship with Ripoll or the person to whom he lost his virginity? Because I recall a bit of information which was widely posted and involved humorous avatar changes by Patrick?

That sort of jumping to bizarre and inappropriate conclusions is what is creepy.

I'm with you in theory about getting "too personal", but I'm pro-choice across the board, so since Patrick's been so...open lately about - shit, everything - I felt I wasn't really adding fuel to the fire. I was just pulling up a chair and getting warm.

What do you care how personal people want to get on this message board, Nordling? It's not like anyone here's exactly admitted to gutting a hooker and hiding her in his closet (yet). I for one prefer a place where I can discuss more than just movies, and in that respect the CHUD messageboard is actually unique and to be envied by other lesser, more ugly messageboards. The only problem, I guess, comes when someone reveals a proclivity that forever colours the way you think of him, such as Patrick fucking a banana peel. But that's the chance you take. And if you prefer to remain some sort of movie-loving cypher sheltered behind a screen-name and avatar, well, fine. But it's not fair asking other people to remain the same (yes, I do realise the irony, given my screen-name).

Oh... and you people are my only friends!

I realize in the Sex Forum that it can go as far as people spinning chickens on their cranks without anyone batting an eye, so the best bet is to just stay out of there. And again, I don't have a problem when people talk about their lives, it builds a sense of community. At some point, though, it becomes a little intrusive when people start sharing some pretty intimate stuff on here when it might be best to share that stuff with your family and friends (outside the internet) first. I think using a messageboard as a crutch to talk about life problems is not helpful, especially since from what I can tell most of the posters are just telling you what you want to hear.

I'm just saying that I hope this isn't the first place you come to if you have problems in your relationship. I'd hope it would be with that person waaaay before you decide to post about it here.

Which brings up another point, what the hell is with people cruising a message board while drunk? Maybe it's because I'm old and don't get to get drunk as often as I once did but I prefer the company of actual people when I'm loaded and not just cyphers on a message board.

Well judging by the number of savagely honest, snark-filled responses I read on these boards, I think it's the exact opposite.

And as I said... you people are my only friends.

It's a good thing this subject was brought up, because I've recently developed an attraction to my mother, and I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm not sure I should go into it here, so I guess I'll head over to somewhere else for advice on how to get her into the sack.

Nordling's Devin impression is getting better.

Slight Edit: Jesus Christ, he kinda has a point. I need to keep up more.
