As am I. I'm a little disappointed that Mask of the Phantasm was beat out by Begins, Returns, and Batman, but I suppose it is a little under-seen.

It's too bad manga couldn't be included; although I doubt there enough good manga-based features out there to fill out a bracket, it would've been fun to see Oldboy clean house.

That top 3 couldn't be any better. I have no clue which one I'd choose out of the three as my fave. Both SPIDER-MAN 2 and SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE are pretty much neck-and-neck in terms of superhero comic book film adaptations. And A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE (which I wasn't sure would get a decent push, hence why all of my votes went to it) is one of the best films of the decade, period.

I personally think this was the major failure of this knockout, since Batman 89 has been steadily going to shit over the years, and Phantasm does just about everything Begins does, but better (and believe me, I LIKE Begins) and without that mess of a third act, but to each their own

I haven't seen Superman since I was young, so I didn't vote positively or negatively towards it(edit- I think I did vote against it at one point, I'm a jerk), but yeah, this ended up pretty well.
I'm shocked X2 got whacked so soon in this last round, and pleasantly surprised Batman Returns made it so far.

I must be the only person who thinks Spidey 2 is overrated and Returns still doesnt get enough respect, that being said I am surprised Returns made it as far as it did. Also I am not getting the Hellboy dissatisfaction around these parts recently, as its tone is solid throughout and its respect to the charachter far accurate than say Superman the movie, which ranks worse on my personal list then Begins due to silly time travel and Kidder.
