I'll certainly give you
A History of Violence, but then, I'm a Cronenberg groupie. I guess I just didn't find
Road to Perdition all that memorable. It's a very good movie, yes, but I thought that
American Splendor was revolutionary in the way it played with the conventions of cinematic storytelling; as revolutionary in its way as
Pulp Fiction.
Dammit,
Pulp Fiction had guns. The NRA has something to do with this.
I think I just have trouble believing that you would think it's the worst movie on that list. I mean,
Batman Begins,
Hellboy and
Sin City are all better movies than
American Splendor? Really?
