I'm trying to decide what disgusted me more. The video of the 91 year old WW2 vet being beaten or the advertisement for Dove's "Pro-Age" skin care products featuring a bunch of old naked broads that I had to sit through before I could watch the video of the 91 year old WW2 vet being beaten. It'll be a photo finish, let me tell ya.

The video only shows them for a few seconds. They're standing at a car right next to the old mans. There's about 4 or 5 of them.

Welcome to my home town of Detroit, ladies and gentlemen. This happens everyday, so only made the news because the victim was 91.

On the plus side, they caught the guy and his dumbass girlfriend who got into the car with him a couple of days later:

I feel an urge to bump the "Detroit is a hellhole" thread. This beating is so gratuitous I think a charge of attempted murder is very possible.

It was the store security camera.

I'm really happy the attacker was caught. Jesus, he's only 22.

Clearly the kid has some anger problems, because there really was no reason to beat that guy up to take his car. He was so old and frail looking I'm shocked that he survived, he could have been pushed out of the way easily.

What does it take to make someone so violent? Why did he do it?
