She was incredibly hot in STRANGE DAYS.  Those cornrows...wow.

I honestly can't understand why Angela Bassett didn't become a huge, huge star.  She's gorgeous, has incredible presence whenever she's on the screen, and can flat out ACT better than 95% of her peers.

I keep waiting for CBS to wise the fuck up & hire Bassett to be the lead on one of those CSI shows. She would KILL it so hard.

It's also a crying shame that she got cheated out of playing Storm in the X-Men films because FOX insisted on Halle "Help! I'm trapped in a paper bag & can't act my way out of it!" Berry.
