Wow. The artist needs to request a do-over.

Good God!

My question is, isn't this shit stenciled beforehand so the buyer can find out what the design will look like first?

Oh, holy hell. That's bad, like, really, really bad. At what point, did the tattoo artist decide to toss Gonzo's nose into the mix? If I was that woman, I'd be spinning in my grave. Jeez, she looks like F. Murray Abraham on ecstasy and in drag.

There is a definite Murray Abraham vibe from that tattoo. It gets worse every time I look at it.

Someone in the link pointed out that she looks like Lester from Skate or Die:

I'm still laughing about the choppers on that thing.

This belongs in the Creature Corner forums.

Goddamn. That's hideous. Guy didn't see a stencil?

Also, pink ink?

You don't want to see your significant other re-drawn as a flesh eating zombie?

The font is also terrible. It resembles dripping blood.

As bad as that portrait is, I think the lettering might actually be worse. Poor bastard.

I guess it got picked up on digg or something, because 229,000 people have viewed that page, and it's only been up for two days. With that many people viewing it, he should put that artist's name up there, if only to warn people off!

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize it wasn't his arm...

Well, she IS dead, apparently.

True.

The funniest/saddest area has to be the teeth. Why on earth did the artist feel the need to color in each tooth individually with black ink?

Sad thing is that I think it might be the kat's wife since the Flickr page is titled "Beloved Wife" in Spanish.

The shadows around the eyes was a bad, and unfixable, choice.

I don't think so. The bottom of the photo has a tag from a website (can't read the name) that he probably pulled it off of. The title was probably just the name of the .jpg file...

Reminds me of a friends little sister. Got an underaged (she was only 16 at the time) tattoo. It was a huge arc across her stomach that was supposed to say "Straight Edge", only the moron left out the "a" in straight. That's right, huuuuuge fucking misspelled tattoo. It would have been even better if she didn't cover it up a couple years later. 10 years later, we still refer to her as Stright Edge.

Curious - how do you pronounce that?

That Cool Ice photo is priceless not only for the tattooed moron, but for the freaked out looking guy in the background getting inked.

Sorry, without Van Halen or Journey on that guy's back, I lost all respect for him.

They're probably on his ass.

That's some random Finnish c-list celebrity, can't remember who and the picture is from a tabloid. It's not mentioned in the text that the tattoo misspelled. Apparently the writer, the photographer and no one at the maganize offices noticed the misspelling or didn't care. She later got the text removed.

Oh, and Stump's link has a NSFW image smack in the middle of it, be careful.
