Well, I thought it was about Jehovah Witnesses.

Getting stabbed and so on.

Please tell me Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton are somehow involved in this project.

Well, I'll be honest, I was going to make some smarmy comment about how badly she's aged, but a Google Image search proved that I'd be very, very wrong.

More Lovecraft is always a good thing.

Also I was watching The Host the other day and I thought that the way the monster was presented throughout the movie would be great to use for Lovecraft's creatures. I really liked how you could never tell exactly what the features of the creature were . Imagine that kind of a design seen under the circumstances Lovecraft describes in his stories. A tentacle here, a shadow there. Maybe it's time for the Shoggoth to make their screen debut.

I don't think I have to tell you how much I agree w/ Stelios on all points raised. I'd love to see Carpenter try his hand at more Lovecraftian horror, in light of how good "In the Mouth of Madness" was, and the fact that he's an obvious HPL devotee.
