The whole bootcamp thing has me thinking of all the potential for great satire, but it'll probably just end being a typical slasher flick, right?

Horror flicks notoriously get that aspect wrong (See the "criminals" portrayed as spoiled teens on a bad vacation in "See No Evil" for more information) so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

True enough. BUt on some level, don't we all enjoy seeing spoiled teens get theirs? How about an episode of 'My Super Sweet Sixteen" that goes horribly wrong, captured by the MTV cameras? I'd pay Tyson fight, Wrestlemania pay per view money to see that.

So would I. Having horribly unlikeable characters all get completely decimated in various inventive ways with nary a survivor girl in sight is all the horror community wants anyway.

I wouldn't say that's ALL we want. But it's certainly good for a laugh now and then. The unlikable deaths I mean. We always want boobs, and they're no laughing matter. Or, at least. . . they shouldn't be.
