Kevin's article- http://www.creature-corner.com/?type=news&id=2480

I haven't been the biggest fan of most of Adult Swim's stuff, but this sounds like gold.

Live Action? So are they just...not Cartoon Network anymore?

Maybe they'll act cartoony. I dunno. Is this the first live action show on the network?

nope, they aired reruns of Saved by the Bell during Adult Swim before.

other than this not being a cartoon, im actually intrigued

Taking the cartoon out of Cartoon Network would be like taking the music out of MTV, and God knows we'd never see. . . oh wait. . .never mind. . . .

or the news out of CNN

. . . or the fairness and balance out of Fox News.

to say that would imply it was there in the first place.

adult swim has had a few live-action shows, but they were so strange that they might as well have been a cartoon. dont forget they showed peewee's playhouse too.

It's almost a trend now. MTV and Vh1 have no music any more...I like to think of adult swim as a kind of Nick at Nite...not the usual programming. I'll be watching this.

Yeah, I think Adult Swim can be considered slightly different from Cartoon Network as a whole. They sure as hell pretend to be a different entity entirely. That said, I'm looking forward to this.

Tim and Eric Awesome Show is live action, and it's the best show on the network.

I have full faith in this.

there are so many funny people behind the stuff on adult swim. i got a great feeling about stiff because most of the new stuff on adult swim is great. i really love morel oral, but maybe that's because i really hate religion. and another funny guy, bob odenkirk does a lot for adult swin i beleive and he's brilliant. all the stuff he does...the tenacious d show, the ben stiller show...he's the man. mr. show was probably the best sketch show ever made.

this whole cartoons on cartoon network and music on mtv thing pisses me off. who cares that mtv doesn't show music anymore. there are plenty of stations that are dedicated music video channels. most of the mainstream videos are crap anyway. if you want videos go to on demand and you can watch tons of indie and metal bands. mtv's original programming is awful, but if they showed videos 24/7, the videos would be awful because it'd either be r&b or pop or 50 cent rapping about nappy headed hoes.

You do make a point about the MTV likely playlist if they played videos today. But if you're old enough to remember the 80's, Old School MTV was fun. You could turn it on any time 24/7 and see music videos, which were still a new phenomenon at the time. All the pot I was smoking may make the recollections fuzzier and warmer than maybe they should be, but I for one get all nostalgic for the way MTV used to be. I think most of the people bitching are about my age, as well. So I guess that's my theory; it's all based on 80's nostalgia, and us turning into cranky 30-something old farts.

Metalocalypse & The Venture Bros. are probably the 2 best shows on adult swim now. I do find myself enjoying Saul of the Mole Man though, that's live action, plus it has Trey Parker singing the theme song. Stiff does sound like it could be a winner.

And still Korgoth of Barbaria goes ignored. Congratulations, Adult Swim; I didn't think it was possible, but you have reached a new low.
