The natural world is so amazing I can't imagine wanting to hallucinate.

Would you say that you are high on life?

Since when are milkshakes and mescaline mutually exclusive?

Step through the door! The Door of Perception!

Mescaline (and it's cuz, Psylocibin) is pretty much in a class of its own. Haven't touched it in a long time, but it was pretty astonishing.

On a related note, I did eat some mushrooms the other night. And then i played Extreme-G on the N64. All I can say is . . . what the fuck??!?!?!?!?!

This is pretty dumb since mescaline is part of the natural world.

But I recommend rereading some of your old posts. You'll feel like you're hallucinating, that's for sure!

That's fine, but some of us are in fucking Philadelphia, and need all the help we can get.

Mescaline is one of the stranger drugs I've done.

The "hyper-awareness to the point of stupidity" came a bit stronger and faster than most hallucinogens. There was some of the general weirdness and distorted vision and staring at fish tanks.

Then I closed my eyes and attempted sleep, thinking I got a low dose and all the big stuff passed. That was when I fell in to a rather deep and awe-inspiring head trip. All sorts of visual memory bending to my will, causing that immense sense of amusement in the world when you peak. Then something like..."moral gravity", for lack of a better term, dropped like a ton of bricks and I explored some of the decisions I've made in the past year . Reawareness intruded rather uncomfortably when Brian Eno started skipping. I got up to take a shit and had to avoid walking out my window.

Then it was pretty much over. It was worth 10 bucks. I probably won't do it again. I'd much rather revisit acid.

I haven't tried peyote yet, but I know mescaline through peyote's cousin, peruvian torch.

It was like acid, but calmer and fuzzier. I had to eat a lot of incredibly bitter cactus goo, and I was sort of nauseous throughout the whole experience.

It was really good though, I felt very relaxed and my friend and I spent most of the night sitting on our floor watching the walls move or playing guitar or listening to music.

It's something I want to try again, but right now I'm more interested in experiencing a full blown psilocybin trip. I've tried it twice but both times I just felt a bit buzzed.

Acid was a scary experience, but Peyote was very groovy. Couldn't stop laughing.
