Give it up and quit threatening us with another Spawn film, Todd.

Go back to the shitty adolescent "EXTREME!" nineties Image Comics world from whence ye came. And while you're there, cut off Rob Liefeld's hands before he can ever draw anything.

Nah just go back to making action figures.

*checks calendar*

Nope, it's not 1995 anymore. Who the hell still cares about this property, honestly?

Maybe that's his reasoning... he can pump out 30 new Spawn figures "Based on the new film!"

That Todd is such a snake-oil-selling huckster. He'd give Lloyd Kaufman a run for his money.

"Yeah and now this one will be totally different. It's gonna have Sam and Twich as the main characters, kinda like Seven, ya know? And Spawn is gonna be like Kevin Spacey kind of mysterious and unknown even though a whole movie was made about him and most people that pay to see the movie want to see a Spawn movie. But it'll be cool."

Shut up, Todd. I'm with SAIRUS, keep making cool toys. And not just the Spawn ones. I have my Franco Harris and Mean Joe Greene action figures proudly sitting next to me.

Never knew Gaiman wrote some issues of Spawn - but yeah, the rest of it is a bit rubbishy.

Roger Ebert kind of liked the film. Somehow.

Actually one issue, my mistake on the plural in the article (fixed that). He's the one that introduced Angela and Medieval spawn and started the whole backstory about how there were Spawns before Simmons. All that in one issue, which of course is the best out of the 50 I have.

Another interesting point is that Gaiman sued McFarlane cause he wasn't making any money off the toys and spinoff series made about the characters he created, and won.

Hey, if anyone likes Spawn and has back issues they need, I have the run up to around 130. They will soon be leaving my house so if you want them for hell of cheap, let me know.

You didn't learn your lesson with the first 20 or so issues? You actually bought 130?!?

GJ=disappointed.

It is shameful, I know. I don't even have a good reason as to why I bought it for so long. I think I kept hoping it would get interesting again. I actually liked the story for a while.

Suing?
That's unusally confrontational for Gaiman.
I suppose no-one really does like Mcfarlane much.
