Psycho 3 is my favorite of the series because it feels like and out-and-out Horror movie, as opposed to a murder mystery, and the fact that it's soo wonderfully lurid and sleazy. This was Perkin's Directorial debut, his only other movie was the very underrated Lucky Stiff, and he had previously worked with Ken Russel on Crimes of Passion and it must have rubbed off on Perkin's when making Psycho 3. Love the score and this movie made me a fan of Jeff Fahey. I never understood why he never took off as an actor?
