...Is FINALY coming out tomorrow, along with the "Sergio Leone trilogy" which includes that great The Good, The Bad and the Ugly package with the first two Man With No Name flicks. They all have similiar (and fantastic) packaging.

Rejoice, rejoice!

Yeah, this one will be mine as soon as I have some extra cash. I absolutely love the packaging for this.

Ditto. I already have all the No Name films, but this is worth a double dip. Especially since Duck, You Sucka! is in it.

Same here...although, I did get the really nice two-disc edition of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly back when that came out. Looks like the local library will soon have a copy of that in their DVD section.

Yeah. I may pawn mine off too. As much as I love that packaging, it always bugged me that it was about a 1/4 of an inch taller than the rest of my DVD collection.

They're selling all three separately. You could just buy them that way. That's what I'm doing...

I tried to sell the GB&U dvd in the odd box on ebay. No bites. I'm thinking if I want to get rid of it now. The boxset can be had for 60, and the other three titles separately would be 60, so the reason to get the boxset would be to save space. I'll probably see how much I can get for that and the other bare bones man without a name DVDs I have at this store I know of.

AWESOME! I had no idea. I already have the bulky Good Bad Ugly so I'll be getting the others separately. I'm not wild about the longer version of GBU
with the 40 years later-looping (and a soundalike for Lee Van Cleef ) If the "regular" version was included, I'd buy the whole set.

From what I heard, this version of Duck... is the same as the region 2 or whatever. Meaning it's cut. Am I correct?

That's Fistful Of Dynamite to you. I can't believe they're going with Duck, You Sucka over that glorious alternate title.
Fistful of Dynamite is clearly a superior title, yes, but Duck, You Sucker! is pretty funny, and it does say AKA A Fistful of Dynamite on the cover.

I'm just glad that I'll finally be able to see this film in all it's widescreen "scope" glory. I saw this on vhs three years back. Man it was horrendous. I also already have the S.E. of GBU, but I won't be selling it off. I'll just buy the rest seperately. These great westerns will have to wait though, because as much as I love them, I've gotta have Seinfeld season 8 first.

"Duck, You Sucker" is MILES better than the lame, uninspired "Fistful" variant title.

about effin time for this disc, too.

Plus, it's a quote from the movie. You don't see coburn walking around cyring "Here's a fistful of dynamite for ya!"

What about the part where Coburn is like "Hey that's a nice gun. I'd like to buy it" to this cowboy, and the cowboy says "Oh yeah, what'll you give me for it?" and then Coburn says "A fistful of dynamite!" and then punches him in the face while yelling "BOOM!"

I've yet to actually see the movie.

It played several European markets, including Italy, as ONCE UPON A TIME...THE REVOLUTION, and Leone intended the film to be second in a very loose trilogy with his other ONCE UPON A TIME projects.

DUCK, YOU SUCKER! is my favorite of the titles -- though I don't mind A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE (perhaps because this was how I originally saw the film, severely cut and pan and scanned on VHS almost two decades ago).

Arriving quick on the heels of the DUCK, YOU SUCKER! disc is Leone's debut feature, the sword-and-sandal epic THE COLOSSUS OF RHODES (1961), which gets the DVD treatment from Warner on June 26. I don't think this even saw the light of day on VHS.

Also now available is the Leone-produced and co-directed (uncredited) kinda sorta sequel to MY NAME IS NOBODY, Damiano Damiani's A GENIUS, TWO PARTNERS AND A DUPE. Terence Hill returns from the first film to join the Prisoner himself, Patrick McGoohan, as well as Klaus Kinski for one brief but amusing scene. Check it out, it's fun.

Now that I've seen the movie I'm going to have to say that Duck You Sucker is the superior title.

I finally saw it and loved it. The scene where Coburn surveys the damage in the cave while Steiger is out shooting the machine gun is some of the best visual poetry Leone ever created.
