Anyone care to place any bets?

He's already started. Everybody out of the Salma Hayek thread!

There's only so many times a man can take a waiter leaning down next to him at Outback.

No, the Salma Hayek thread is about par for the course for him.

It's complicated, really - I want to be there when he goes to pieces and storms off, but I don't ever want the freakshow to end.

For what it's worth, his opening salvo in that tread was hilarious.

Yeah, funny thing that...right after I posted this, I popped into that thread and saw that you had made a similar comment.

I'm just waiting for the Giant Baba-like tantrum, followed by the inevitable banning.

This thread should be titled S.M.'s Lamest Hits!

But then again, we're giving him more sunshine than a dog's ass deserves.

I've mentioned this before, but it bears repeating: the guy's been stunningly meltdown-proof up until now, and I don't expect it to change. Basically, he's too dumb to die.

Wait, this thread is for predictions? I was hoping it was for requests.

Agreed.

What makes anyone think he's gonna have a meltdown?

Ahhh, finally got to neg rep you again.

In the Salma Hayek thread, anyone who had to endure Miyagi could notice that he's just himself, in all his basking glory.

He's never been something else, nor deviated in his dialog since his beginnings.

Idiocy alone's not enough for a meltdown.
You need the guy to take himself deadly seriously, too. Baba did.

They say cockroaches will survive a nuclear war.

Metaphor: the writer's best friend.

You're joking. So now honest questions are worthy of a neg rep?
He gets an entire thread dedicated to him and you think he's going to melt down? He's rubbing his hands together muttering "Goooood! Goooooooood!"

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted.

"Staring at my sandals... that's a negative rep."

Oh, miyagi does that, too. What makes him indestructible is that he lives an input-free life - new material is constantly rejected for the sake of previously held assumptions, baffling blanket statements, and startlingly bizarre beliefs. Let's call it "the Church of Miyagi," because there's some very strange dogma being held very fervently, and there's no changing it. Disagree with him all you want, but rest assured that all intelligent arguments perish when confronted with his armor of idiocy.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. Illogical bullshit that is popular and taboo to disagree with, it is true I'm not going to agree with that. You are more the religious one here Dave, literally and figuratively. I don't believe in any mystical bullshit and I don't go around thread to thread spreading the gospel of anti-miyagi in an effort to reiterate something my pride wants me to believe.

What constitutes a meltdown by the way? Posts that consist of only the words "fuuuuuuuuuck uuuuuuuuuuu" with huge font sizes or something. I think the people who have a problem with me are melting down a little bit in that case. But I might try that in a thread for the comedy of it.

How dare you use the images of my great-uncle to propagate your attempts at humor ?

Shame on you.

So Devin has neg-repped twenty people since the start of that "Sue me, I don't like______" thread.

He's like Gregory House. Acts like a bastard, but deep down he truly cares.

I hate to take away from his tough-as-nails exterior, but I know for a fact that they haven't all been neg reps. I don't think the system cares whether the rep you're giving is positive or negative - the "you have to spread it around" message pops up before you can specify one way or the other.

What's hilarious about Swedish Miyagi is that he honestly believes that he's really intelligent, and is making points that everyone around him is just not smart enough to understand. It's almost cute.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to BobClark again. Beautiful grey rep points.
