Monty Python and the Meaning of Life DVD question

Does the two disc special edition of this have a horrible transfer or is it my copy/tv? Everytime there's any movement, there's terrible interlacing errors.

I thought you were going to ask where the fish is.

Actually, when I first bought my copy the transfer was shit, and it was a known defect with the DVD. This was a few years back, and at that time, the company that put it out (Universal?) had a mail in program that allowed people to send in their defective copies of Disc 1, and the studio would send out a new one. It took a few weeks for me to get mine, but I don't know if they still honor that or not.

Chris O. is right - it was a major problem in the authoring upon first release. Somehow you have a first pressing it wuld seem. Its been corrected since - try to take it back.

This is Blockbuster's copy, so I'll have to talk to the store manager about sending it back.

The only problem I got with my copy is that I realised I should have gotten Life of Brian first.
