That's just fucking cool.
That is pretty fucking cool actually. Especially after I was going through some of the old Devin vs. Don threads the other day. Go Devin!
The Devin-Don Murphy reconciliation is perhaps the single most ulikely, and amazing, event I've witnessed since becoming a Chewer many moons ago.

Someone needs to post the classic photo of the two of them hugging it out.

No, Devin calling up that one girl on the phone to apologize to her is the most unlikely. I forget what her name was, but for one day, we all learned how to love.
Wow, that's quite a respect ladened 180.

looks like the end of Slither.

What a magical night that was.

That was BGirl, and you are correct. Truly a wonderous moment.

What's the story on this?
Devin went a bit rough on her in some thread I can't remember. I think it's one of those "I just came to the boards, and I have a sex problem" .

She PM him, and then they talked.

That night, we saw Devin: The Humanitarian.

Fucking classic CHUD "what the fuck just happened?" moment
post #14 of 46
Damn you Ripolli, damn you and your fake Italian name.
So Milette was the cause of that ?

Fuck it. You could level Shanghai with burning anger and it's wouldn't have been that entertaining.

Alex, you're getting slow.
As horrible as Murphy was on the boards back then, I wasn't surprised when he made up with Devin. Typically, people with waterarms are of a softer nature.

I remember Matchstick absolutely annihilating Murphy in some of those old threads. They were among the best posts in the history of CHUD.
That thread is incredibly surreal.

Hey, I get credit for that.
It brings up a valid question, though. Why AM I such a douche?

Personally, I'm leaning towards a chemical imbalance, or a gypsy curse.
That old bgirl thread is a treasure trove. I'd forgotten all about temos. "To me, my temos."

Every time I see this thread, I think Werbal's come back to give us more greatness.

I blame M.O.D.O.K.

Holy shit, I'd forgotten that thread. Like an M. Night movie, only entertaining.

Devin looks like Brett Ratner.
I still could've sworn Nigel was british.

The Poetry of the Waterarm will never be forgotten.

Nah, I'm going with Jeremy Piven's younger, sluttier, ne'er-do-well brother.
I didn't realize that people still used Yankee as an insult. It seems about as lame and meaningless as calling Brits redcoats.

I used to think that too. But after the Friday The 13th stories he did he sort of looks like Jerry Garcia.
Personally I was leaning towards Devin somewhat looking like Peter Jackson's brother before Jackson lost a shit ton of weight.

Millette, my girlfriend's a gypsy.

So...

Yes, a curse is completely plausible.

Amazing that a girl's hot voice could melt the cold exteriors of Devin's heart. Total wtf moment.

oh and "Your 4 month old downsy neice could make better posts by banging her head on the keyboard. Get lost" was hilarious.

Radb707, tell your girlfriend to return my hubcaps.

She won't even give mine back. She just looked at me like I just asked for a million dollars, stayed completely silent, and then turned and walked away. Then I sat alone on the couch, contemplating my life and lost hubcaps and said "Damn, I just got gypped". Swear to god, next day I lost 10 pounds and thought my name was Batman.

In retrospect, it almost seems worth it.

Just be glad she didn't shrink you down to doll-size and try to sell you in a yard sale.

That's why I had to change my name. I couldn't stand the thought of you picturing me sipping tea in a tweed suit and a bowler.

I was browsing the HBO Sopranos bulletin boards and noticed a poster with a similar sounding name. Is this the same girl who melted Devin's heart?
Not as good as his snapshot with fabfunk.

Usually these expressions are accompanied by much cheek-pinching by elder relatives. A"mieseh punim" is an "ugly face." A "farbissenah punim" is a "sour face." (visualize Leona Helmsley.) My bestest friend (and big toe) is Jewish, and I heard his mom say that quite a bit when we were kids.
