I hope one of the deleted scenes is the clip of the guy at the airport hangar getting squashed by Castor's Learjet.

Nice. That third eye in the middle is a little creepy though.

Alternate ending?

Man, has it really been 10 years? I remember seeing this film and being excited at Woo doing more American movies. Oh how the times have changed.

It might be the original ending. I read somewhere that the final scene w/ Archer bringing home Castor's son was filmed months later, after the initial test screenings.

I can't think of a better way to mark the 6th year since the attacks on 9/11. This on the 11th, COMMANDO on the 18th, come on Universal let's get cracking on a decent HARD TARGET disc.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

I was waiting and waiting, not buying this because I was hoping beyond hope it would get a special edition.

"If I were to send you flowers where would I... no, let me rephrase that. If I were to let you suck my tongue, would you be grateful?"

I actually own this movie on VHS and it's completely worn out. Yeah, I think it's time I upgraded to DVD. Thanks for posting this, Isao.

Woo! This is one of those that I've almost purchased time after time, but the half-assedness of that old DVD always put me off, even when it was only $6, or whatever. Glad to see this news. One of my favorite action movies.

Excellent news. One of my favorite action movies of the 90's. Last time I liked Travolta in anything.

Great news. With so many features, I'll have to go through my first double dip. Ah well. I'm still having fun.

There was a period in my life where I memorized this film verbatim and kept trying to find new ways to synch up the action sequences with "Block Rockin' Beats". Due to my stunted maturation, that day will come again!

I've got this on vhs, and never upgraded, because I always figured there'd be an S.E. glad I waited. I remember reading a Fangoria discussing a make-up artist, and they had a still from Face/Off that wasn't in the film. A side shot of Travolta's face as it's being peeled away, and you can see the muscle's underneath. Perhaps that'll be in the deleted scenes.

Too Soon! Too Soon!

I have a copy on DVD currently, but I think it was part of a promotion with a DVD player I bought, so I never actually bought it. Great stuff. I may have to put this together with Con Air and The Rock and have a Nic Cage triple-feature.

John Woo commentary track. Good luck with that fellas. I'm still far too riveted by his "M:I-2" commentary to listen to this.
