I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
It might be the original ending. I read somewhere that the final scene w/ Archer bringing home Castor's son was filmed months later, after the initial test screenings.
I can't think of a better way to mark the 6th year since the attacks on 9/11. This on the 11th, COMMANDO on the 18th, come on Universal let's get cracking on a decent HARD TARGET disc.
Woo! This is one of those that I've almost purchased time after time, but the half-assedness of that old DVD always put me off, even when it was only $6, or whatever. Glad to see this news. One of my favorite action movies.
There was a period in my life where I memorized this film verbatim and kept trying to find new ways to synch up the action sequences with "Block Rockin' Beats". Due to my stunted maturation, that day will come again!
I've got this on vhs, and never upgraded, because I always figured there'd be an S.E. glad I waited. I remember reading a Fangoria discussing a make-up artist, and they had a still from Face/Off that wasn't in the film. A side shot of Travolta's face as it's being peeled away, and you can see the muscle's underneath. Perhaps that'll be in the deleted scenes.
I have a copy on DVD currently, but I think it was part of a promotion with a DVD player I bought, so I never actually bought it. Great stuff. I may have to put this together with Con Air and The Rock and have a Nic Cage triple-feature.
This is awesmoe. I love Face/Off and also held out figuring there would bea SE one day and her it is. A good year for Woo fans, Hard Boiled SE in July and now this!
