Oops. Add "The Rocketeer" to that list.

I would have sworn Robocop was based on a comic-book (when I first saw it) had I not already known otherwise.

Mars Attacks was based on a franchise that started off as trading cards in the fifties

No one has mentioned Judge Dredd yet, but I presume that is because the film is fucking shithouse.
From my end of the world that here has been two I can think of: An animated version of an enormously popular Kiwi comic strip called Footrot Flats, and a live action Ginger Meggs movie that is kind of a DownUnder Dennis the Menace.
Neither of these films are even remotely worth mentioning, ever, but I'm really bored and I've got two hours to kill before I have to back to work.

RE: Asterix movies- I think they would only be worth watching if you grew up with reading the original material, although Asterix and Cleopatra is worth checking out for the Belluci factor, as is anything, ultimately.

Don't forget Supergirl (1984), unless you were counting it your "Supermans." Although I can't remember if it was any good or not.

Good Jerry Goldsmith score, that's about it.

Jerry Goldsmith score and Helen Slater in a miniskirt. And the score you can get separately, so really, all the movie has to offer is the miniskirt.

Obviously you've never seen the "Director's Cut":

"Slightly" NSFW.

Does My Super Ex-Girlfriend count? Uma was clearly the best flying super gal not of Kryptonion blood in a live action film. MSEGF also had much more and exciting action than Superman Returns did. I would take Uma Thurman as Super Girl over Helen Slater any day of the week.

Is it based on a comic book? No. I'll let you work out the rest for yourself. You can do it.

Ah, but what a miniskirt! A lot of people don't really consider this, but "Superman Returns" had even more of a connection with the mythology of "Supergirl" than the earlier pictures, since Superman is away on a "space mission" during "Supergirl". Honestly, my one reason for not buying that mammoth Supes box set was that there was no "Supergirl" in it.
