"A CORBIN BERNSEN FILM"

that's great.
Funny story- I used to work backstage in Burbank for Jay Leno, and I pitched a horror film to him- the exchange went something like this:

Quote:
Me: "...so there's this guy, and he meets this lady, and they hit it off and start going out. So she goes out of town and she asks him to feed her cat. So at this time, there's a lot of stuff going on in his life and, uh, it slips his mind for a few days. Maybe a week. Not a week, five, six days.

Corbin Bernsen: Yeah yeah yeah. So what happens?

Me: Well, it's the damnedest thing. The cat dies. So she comes back into town, she finds the cat lying on the carpet stiff as a board.

Corbin Bernsen: So he killed the cat.

Me: That's what she says. He says, 'listen. It was an old cat. It died of natural causes'. So get this, now she tells him that he has to buy her a brand new cat. He says, 'listen, honey. First of all, it was a pretty old cat. I'm not gonna buy you a brand new cat to replace an old dying cat. And second of all, I go out to the garbage, I find you a new cat in fifteen seconds. You show me an autopsy report that says this cat died of starvation, I spring for a new cat.' So she says something to him, like, uh, I dunno, get the hell out of here, and she breaks up with him. Then, one night, I dunno, the cat's ghost finds the guy sleeping in his apartment, and sucks out his soul. Now don't you think that would be a great movie?"
He left quickly and didn't say much about it, so whatever. Then I caught up with Matthew Fox (this was after the second season of LOST) and gave him some ideas about LOST. "Enough with the island, already!" I told him. "People do get stranded in places besides an island. How about an abandoned coal mine?"
