I haven't been able to dig into this piece yet but shrapnel has been strewn across all the political sites (except Drudge, of course) -- about everything from Cheney's setting in motion what eventually unfolded at Abu Ghraib to evidence of last-minute massaging of the piece by hasty editors losing their nerve about portraying Cheney as, essentially, the executive, with Bush an imbecilic sidekick withuot a clue about what his Dark Master was doing.
