Wrestler kills family, self

Guess this is pretty much a ringing endorsement for steroids, huh?
It was so obviously faked. How many times did Sting kill his family and himself, only to have them all reappear on SummerSlam?
Did he do it off the top rope?

Why didn't his wife just tap out?
It's a sad reminder of the decline of wrestling. A classy and dedicated athlete like the Ultimate Warrior would have never done something like that.
According to the latest reports, the deaths were 'bizarre', and no guns were used. My theory is that he was practicing his Zangief double lariat moments before a surprise group hug, and he accidentally took out his entire family. Despondent, he did a headfirst suicide lunge into the wall.

The least this fucking monster could do was wait to kill his family in a PPV event.
The monster FARK thread about this is quite the read.

Update: actual link to the thread in question.

Considering one of his big moves was a flying headbutt from the top rope, this is quite likely.
I tried to watch WWF/E recently and after 5 minutes I realized how retarded I was back in middle school. It could be BS, it could not.
"The Crippler" is only guilty of going a little bit too far this time.
Bring on the 29.95 tribute t-shirts.

Wow. This is very strange. Benoit was scripted to win the ECW title last night on PVV and didn't show due to a "Family Emergency".

So does having to kill your family count as an family emergency?
This KILLED me. Thanks for the link.

Anyone who can perform a flying headbutt off the top rope night in and night out deserves respect in my book. Sorry to see him go in this way.
Good to see that the Fark posters and I have the same thresholds for respecting others.

Nor would Ted "The Million Dollar Man" DiBiase or "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan do such things.

I've got word these two are investigating the matter.

On another note, you pr*cks coming in here just to bash professional wrestling need to STFU and GBTW. Why come to a thread like this just so you can disrespect the dead and piss on the wasp's nest? This is neither the time nor place for your ass hattery.
Man, that thread is gold.
I challenge them to come up with a better time and place for ass hattery.
I don't even have words for the number of times I've seen the theory put forward (yes, even now, when the police appear to have a good grasp on things) that it was the wife who killed their son, and he killed her, follow by killing himself in grief. What the hell is wrong with these people?
I like the guy who found 444 stories on Google News and is still holding out hope that this is all part of a storyline.

Yeah, that was good. I can't believe CNN is in on the work. Hope they don't break kayfabe!!!
It's still real to them, damn it.

And honestly, evaluation a double murder/suicide is like shooting fish in a barrel. It's a blind assumption. ESPECIALLY when there are NO guns, knives, or apparently things of that matter. THAT is the biggest thing in this.

It just does not pay to be Bret Hart's friend.
I hope Jim "the anvil" Neidhart is spared.

You think there was a big dramatic betrayal/turn into villain moment? He's out in the backyard, cooking burgers, he calls the wife over with some A-1 Sauce, she obliges, brings the bottle, and right as she passes it to him, BLAM! He rips his jeans and skintight Frankie Says Relax t-shirt, under which there's a shirt with the Decepticon logo, and just goes apeshit while Jim Ross screams from the kitchen. "Oh my God! He's packing her mouth with burger meat!"

Also, I hope Chris's high-profile death isn't a doorway for his less talented brother Kevin to make it into the business.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: SHE'S GETTING EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVES! I LOVE IT!

It's sad that some people can be so dedicated to something as to be bordering on, or tipping over into fanaticism.

Other people were theorizing about the murderer being his "on stage" nemesis.

Some people, after finding out about the murder/suicide were still talking about how they cried over losing a "hero" after hearing this news.

Takes all types I guess....

Ted DiBiase is now a Christian minister, combining the Word of God and wrestling in the Power Wrestling Alliance. Amen.

These are the same people who call soap stars by only their character names.

I watch wrestling(prepares for the hate) but ANYONE who smothers a 7 year old is a fucking monster. And any idiot who laments over a lost "hero" while overlooking the smothered child should be boiled alive.

How does Mean Gene Oakerlund react to this?

No, people were wondering if his ex-wife's first husband, whom she left to be with Benoit, was involved. They were wrestlers on the same show at one point about a decade ago, and there was a lot of backstage bullshit.

It's just such a damn shame. He really worked hard to entertain people, loved wrestling very deeply, but it looks like that was the symptom of a much deeper psychosis.
Between this and the feet-lopped-off thread, it's been a real week to remember at CHUD. The only way it could get better would be if Brian Robbins choked to death after biting off Eddie Griffin's nose. He really 'nose' how to direct a comedy!

Somewhere out there on the internet, there's a page long post from Giant Baba about this.

Just one? No fucking way, he's probably written a short novel by now.
By this hour, he probably started contradicting himself pretty heavily.

That's your fault Alex. Ever since you took over CC.
I was reminded of Baba... I was hoping this wouldn't lead to another wrestling thread regular meltdown...

Anyways, the truth is out. WWE has already started removing Benoit's name from DVD descriptions.
If the demised family also became zombies who run, Baba's head explosion would be the 4th death associated to this tragedy.

Okay, so I was just on break and they have the TV turned on to Fox news and they showed a soundbite from some guy outside of Benoit's home. The guy is at least 275 lbs, really bad teeth, speaking in a thick southern accent and crying. Here's what he had to say (paraphrasing):

"That boy was his whole life, you can ask anybody, everytime he won a match his boy was in the ring with him. I just don't believe that he did this"

Another reason for the rest of the world to hate us.

Wo-Man would be slightly more realistic, if that would ever apply in the world of wrestling.

She looked like she could've strangled a bull with her hand.
Seriously, nobody knows where Baba went after he got banned? I want to see that.
He's still here, under a different name. In fact, he used italics and smilies just today! Look.
I barely noticed him.

Is he an accidental emulator of Baba, or is this the real deal ?
Definitely him. Look through his posts. He says things like "SummerSlam? More like SummerASS!", posts goofy pictures, and has italics all over the friggin' place. I notice he's been staying out of Creature Corner, though.....heh...
