I don't know... call me crazy, but an anthology set at the Bates Motel, with the right stories, could be good. Human, real-world horror. Or, as Hollywood interprets it, torture porn.

Ah yes, there is is. I'd read an article about it somewhere else (which made no mention of the earlier show) and assumed that I had read that one.

One has to wonder what Hitchcock would make of all this,

I saw the Bates Motel pilot movie on the Sci-Fi channel several years ago. It was beyond shitty.

It managed to out-suck the Psycho remake. Which is a hard task.
