Coffee Bean "Illusion"

Okay, I don't get this one, so I want some Chewer feedback.

http://www.moillusions.com/2006/04/coffe-illusion.html

I found the face almost immediately, I would say less than two seconds. But, as I read the comments, person after person either can't find it, or it takes minutes of searching. What's the deal? Please post your face-locating speed here, because this seems dubious.

I also didn't believe the girl spinning illusion until I finally managed to make her reverse course, so I think I have a built in cynicism towards this stuff.

Found it right away (about 15 secs), so I'd call that one easy. I'm normally pretty bad with stuff like that.

Took me about ten seconds. I was half-expecting something to suddenly scream at me.

Exactly. And I would've jumped like a little girl. Took me a good 30-45 seconds, but I am terrible at these.

2 seconds.

Took me about a minute, then again I was looking for a face to form from the shape of the bean collection not for a face mixed in along with the beans.

Yeah, that was my problem at first, and then after about 20 seconds or so I noticed the little head.

Ditto. It weirded me out because it all of a sudden just "jumped" out at me.

I just had someone at work try it. After five minutes they gave up and asked me if it was some kind of trick. Strange.

After my continuous failure at reversing the spinning girl, I find this sudden show of illusion competence very heartening.

Practicing to be a magician, Overlord?

That one's pretty lame, but that site has some cool pictures on it. I dig this.

Random anecdote: I used to do magic shows for birthday parties for spare cash. That was a long, long time ago.

-the hell?! Is this a stereogram or what? I got the naked lady to spin both ways (heh) right away but I can't see shit in that pile of beans.

...yeah, it's a stereogram. I got it. "Where's the damn sailboat?!?!"
One of the beans is a photo of a human head. Presumably like you, I was expecting the pattern of beans to form some sort of face. You know, like an "optical illusion". This is just WHERE'S WALDO? with shittier Photoshop.

Five minutes of my life... WASTED. And I didn't even get to spend the time masturbating, like I did for the spinning naked lady one.

"When do I get to see the goddamned sailboat!"

yeah.. I don't see it.

I never did it for cash but I did it for my parents when I was younger and now for my daughter. Those little $30 magic kits you can find at Target and such are pretty slick. And if you wanna drop some cash there are some really badass tricks out there.

Oh and I found the face in like 3 seconds. It even says in the description above the illusion that it's a "Where's Waldo" thing.
God dammit, it won't go away. Once you find it, that's all your eyes can focus on.
Oh wow, there is a regular picture of a head in there. So why do I see a stereogram picture of Chief Wahoo also? WITCHCRAFT!
6 seconds.

Spoiler!

For those who haven't found it. It's not an illusion or a Stareogram, there's really a baldheaded face in there. Start at the bottom of the picture dead in the bottom center. Go 3 beans to left, 1 bean up.

Yeah, this is not an illusion at all. Only took me about 30 seconds, but I still want them back.
I kept looking and I don't see Waldo anywhere. Did he get a new fucking sweater?
I can't see it, guys. Ol' coffee bean face looks nothing like a real girl.
Duh, that's not an illusion, its a visual puzzle. Ok, I got it. All this talk about girls and I missed the bald dude.
I should have just read the rest of the thread first. I sat there staring for a good two minutes... focus... unfocus... repeat... (I was never any good at those, so I figured it was normal not to see anything)

Then I just looked around at the beans and found the shrunken-headed bastard.

The "Where's Waldo?" mention should have been a dead giveaway, but I'm a little slow.
About 10 seconds.
About 10-15 seconds for me, and I usually suck at these things. Don't even put one of those Magic Eye pictures in front of me or I'll be stuck staring at it for days to no avail.
