Tony Blair seen sneaking away from site...

Wow, I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread about this yet. I've been reading about it since this morning.

Three different threats, right? I've been glancing up at the TV throughout the day. CNN International has had some really good coverage of the event so far.

Curious to know if they get anything off of the security cameras, which are everywhere.

I was watching CNNI at lunch, and one of the graphics said something like, "Police are asking for pubic's cooperation", which I thought was hilarious.

They're discovering a couple of others, but it started with this car.

And speaking of which, since the groups are quick to claim responsibility when something gets blown up, will they claim responsibility when something doesn't work, like this bomb?

It'd be the stand-up thing to do, but acknowledging that they failed would hurt them with future clients.

I don't ever recall groups claiming failed bomb rigs were theirs, and it makes sense. What they want to claim is actions, not intentions.


Also, fuck this shit. I'm gonna be spending two months in London this summer, and I'm going to be hanging around prime terrorisin' spots.

Last year when I went to the UK, it was the day after they found those "liquid bombs". I find out this week I have to go back again, and yet another terrorist plot ready to welcome me!

They found a second car btw.
