When did this happen? I'm currently inputting my DVD collection again. And I have a lot of DVD's so this turning into a real pain the lower back and wrists.

Like a month ago. Not a big fan of the change, so I stopped using the site.

If you poke around the site and follow the instructions, your DVD collection should still be there.

Damn. I find this out AFTER I just finished updating my collection. Oh well.

I was able to port mine over with ease lol.

And while the old site was simple...I like the cleaner an more professional look to it now.

It does look a lot better, but I don't like that it only shows 50 listings on a page. If I am trying to delete something, it's a hassle to go through a couple of pages to find what I am looking for.

Everytime I searched for this on Google I kept getting that message board as the top hit, thinking that was the site.

I'm sure my collection is still on there somewhere...

Yeah, the new site format isn't great. That floating menu bar on the left is very annoying. And I love how the "Help" button at the top doesn't do anything.

Anyone have a link to those instructions to get my collection back?

Nevermind... I stumbled on it.

The layout's a bit ugly, and yeah, the 50 at a time thing is stupid. The only people who use this thing have mammoth collections. Still, for showing your collection to people, the personalized url is better than how it used to be.

Big reason I stopped using it right there. I had already broken my listing down by decades after they made it so only 500 or something would show on one page, then they did this.

And the floating bar is the stupidest feature. What the fuck is the point of that?

I assume you figured it out, but for others the site is now dvdaf.com, while dvdaficionado.com links to the sites message board.

Yeah... I guess they thought people were having a hard time spelling the name? I don't know... seems like they aren't thinking much before changing things around.

Well, I guess its better than their first choice, which was to change the site to DVDAflac. They just couldn't afford the duck.

Version 2.0 has been in the works for some time, so I was quite surprised to see it finally come to fruition.

I got an email with instructions on how to port over my collection and it was fairly easy to do so.

I only use this site for reference every once and a while anyway.

At the very bottom of your collection on the DVD Aficionado page, there are the different modes, if you select "Printing", it will show your entire list on one single page like the old version.

I saved the Printing Mode as a favorite in Internet Explorer so I go directly to that setting everytime I log onto DVD Aficionado. I did the same thing with the link in my post's signature.

I have a question. Does anyone know how to easily edit the DVD entries without having to select "One Pager" and trying to find the DVD by guessing its number? The old version let you check the boxes of the DVDs and then select edit. It was pretty easy.
