This one's definitely a heartbreaker, if the rumors are true. I'm a huge fan of Hirschbegel's other work and was looking forward to an unflinching entry in a much-plumbed genre. Sadly, it is apparently not to be.

Keep it away!

Yes, of course I've seen it. But something about Kidman looking scared but trying not to make me think of Shaun. It just all seems so silly here. Like the "RRAaarraawwrr!" sound the pod person makes as he pops up from the bed.

As for this, I wonder if we'll ever get a director's cut to see what's going to be different...

MUST we remake this classic yet AGAIN? God DAMMMIT! When is enough ENOUGH?! HOW many times will we seek to draw from the same well?! Next thiing you know, they'll be coming out with A 3d version of "The Thing". . . .
