I can't even figure out why Wes produced this for his 1st AD. It's totally derivative and incredibly TAME. Cursed was atleast joke-worthy and Redeye was adequate enough. I would have thought that the producer of the Hills Have Eyes remake (sorry, Alex, I liked that one) would have a better eye for material, even if you don't consider his early effective directorial successes.

This movie was destined for DTV.

Trivia: Ian Somerhalder was originally cast in the movie, but soon dropped out. Coincidentally, Michelle Rodriguez who is starring in the movie, starred in the hit TV shot "Lost", as did Ian.

Gee, I wonder why he left.

EDIT: imdb says Wes is directing his own Shocker remake.

"watching the superior Zoltan: Hound of Dracula".

Certainly doesn't speak well for The Breed; the very idea that Zoltan is superior to anything outside of anal warts is frightening.

I swear everytime Michelle Rodriguez lands another role it makes Girl Fight look even further in the past than it actually is.
