I just started listening to them recently, but I'm very intrigued by what I've heard. What's a good album to look up? Or a great song that I can illegally steal? :-)

I liked Tung Songs, but it tweaked me out a little when I first started listening to it.

I actually prefer Panda Bear to Animal Collective but...they're both pretty damn good.

I would suggest Sung Tongs/Feels/Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished/Danse Manitee are all quality works.

I could totally understand that sentiment based off of Person Pitch. I still prefer AC over PB, though.

I cannot stop listening to Peacebone, humming Peacebone to myself, playing Peacebone on my guitar, naming my children Peacebone etc. This has to be stopped.

I hate to commit to this, since Feels actually did end up growing on me and I really like Person Pitch, but Strawberry Jam has gotta be the most annoying album I've heard this year - maybe in a couple years.

I'm not saying it's necessarily a failure. I'm fully convinced the band is in complete charge of their faculties and made the album they wanted to. But why? It stays on 10 for almost the entire run of the album, and even the small amount of subtlety that exists gets rammed up your ass, along with the single groove that gets repeated over and over again.

It's like rainbow-colored Atari Teenage Riot - it's HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, but in a strangely confrontational way. If Strawberry Jam were some guy you met at a party, you'd want to stab him in the face again and again.

Yeah, the album I'm not sold on, but that song was my first exposure to them and it kind blew my mind. I love weird noises, I love experimenting with electronic effects, I love catchy pop songs, and Peacebone has all that. I've been messing around in Audiomulch for the past 2 hours trying to duplicate that sound.
