Why can I only see 592 members?
Why (and how) has Adam Warren got two accounts with exactly the same name?
Why are there three goddamn Nexuses?

Only members with 500 posts make the list.

Because Kurt Russell really was the thing.

To answer 2 of your questions...

You only show up on the member's list when you have at least 500 posts. I can't even begin to imagine how many people would be on the list if it weren't for that.

I was also "Nexus-6" but then my old account mysteriously stopped working(and that account isn't on the members list, despite having a good deal of posts). In addition to me and the other "Nexus" who posts frequently, I think there are a few others(who no longer post) as well.
What can I say? People love Blade Runner.

I did notice there was a Nexus-6 around here before I registered, but I've been using this handle for so damn long. Besides, the only other handle I'm used to is in portuguese.


Ok, I have a question: What's the deal with the Fetal Films Report subforum? I had a thread there a long while ago on the movie Hitman, but it simply got deleted one day.
Also, Eileen used to have a couple of rules threads there, but they don't show up anymore. Has the purpose of the subforum changed and I just missed it?

When you go to a forum, look at the very bottom... it only shows active threads for the last 30 days. Increase that and you'll probably see it.

I changed one of my spare accounts to the same name, so I could keep track. I'm not sure if the other one works — cancelled mod account or something. I still have trouble keeping track of my RL-U, Brad Millette, and swedish miyagi accounts; I should do something about that.

I would have posted a new thread in chewer tech, but I didn't think it was really worth it in this case...

Every once in a while, I am unable to edit my posts. In fact, the entire message box is pretty much useless(I can't use bold, italics, etc without manually typing in the [I] type tags). All the "buttons" in the message box don't work, essentially(links, quotes, etc).

I figured out before that clearing my computer's cache fixed the problem, but now it isn't. Any ideas?

Doesn't the post editing option disappear after one hour? That could be the problem. If you need to edit you have to do it quickly.

Nah, it's not that. Before I even post, I can't use any of the "buttons" on the reply box. If I go to edit, the window is a different shape and if I click "save", nothing happens. It might be a java thing, but I have no idea how the vbulletin system works, or how to reset it.
It's been happening off and on for years, but I thought I'd found the solution. Guess not. Sometime it will probably right itself after a restart.
