Up for a L.A. area gathering? - Page 5

Yes, you can buy tickets in advance (although apparently not yet), but there is no assigned seating, unlike our previous gatherings.

If that's the case, then I vote for a Saturday night instead, as I work until 6:00 on Fridays and may not get to the theater until 6:45 or so. I guess it depends on when the film starts.

Just called the theater. Show times will be listed and tickets will be available for sale starting tomorrow afternoon.

Friday eh? It could be doable, keep me posted on that.

I'm leaving for your fine city in the morning. Down for drinks every night (probably will be drinking with the other people on this wacky trip, either way) and would definitely not mind seeing Let the Right One In for a third time on Friday. It's just that good.

Let me know what you fellas are up to, and how to get there. Tieman, you still have my phone number? I think I lost yours.
I still have your number, Alex. I'll text you with my info.

Here are the Friday start times for Let the Right One In.
1:30pm, 4:15pm, 7:10pm, 9:55pm

I can make either of the last two shows.

Christ it's fucking hot here.

It was pretty cool just yesterday. I blame you.

On the positive side, beer tastes better when the weather is hot.

I could probably make the 7:10, but would be much more comfortable shooting for the 9:55.

Either of those times works for me although I would also prefer the later time.
Same for 9:55, actually.
It looks like 9:55 will work for all of us. Since there is no assigned seating, we can all just get our own tickets (available now online) and meet up at the theater.
Sounds good. See y'all there around 9:30-ish, I guess.
Works for me. See you guys there, and I'll talk to ya later Tieman about everything. Thanks for coming out tonight, it was cool to have a few beers.

Just hope you guys don't mind someone going "OH THIS IS THE BEST SCENE!" every few minutes.

Kidding. Or am I...?

Has anyone been able to get through to this site? I can't.
I didn't have any problems getting tickets last night, but it looks like the site that sells the tickets is down. The theater site is still functional:

Just keep checking back. I'm sure it will be working by tomorrow morning.

The ticket site is working again.

Can't make it tonight, but would love to meet up with you guys in the future. Anyone want to do a New Beverly night one of these days? I'll bring some extra seat cushions...
Just got my ticket. See you mugs there.

Good times. No idea what happened to Sir Oliver, but it was nice meeting Riviello and seeing the rest of youse guys again.
Apologies for not making it guys. Other plans (via the wife) came up (she made me) that required my attention (i.e. I had no choice). How was it?

Great to see the movie again, and according to friends who went to see it at the Angelika in NYC, I got the much better audience. Nice to see a place where people can behave themselves and get into the experience.

Great meeting you guys too, although sorry you couldn't make it out, David!

Next time.
