Tim brought us the new logo for Transformers 4 earlier, and now word has come out that Bay has cast Mark Wahlberg (soon to be coming out in Bay’s Pain And Gain film with Dwayne Johnson) as the lead in Transformers 4. Wahlberg is a great choice to continue on this franchise, and I can’t wait to see what he’ll be bringing to part 4.
I’m just glad that we’re living in an age where being a later sequel is not a bad thing. Fast Five was amazing, and I’ve already gone on record that Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning is a masterpiece.
So yeah, Mark Wahlberg is going to be in Transformers 4. Sound off in the comments or on the messageboard on if you like him being in it, or not.

Rene F. Rangel. I am looking…FOURward to another…TransFOURmative Rock Em Sock Em Robot War, but Mark Wahlberg is just…FOURgettable to me! He is the…Katie Holmes of the Departed!
He’ll be a more manly and likeable lead than Labeouf one way or the other, so at least I’ll be able to enjoy watching the hero saving the day instead of praying for one of the giant robots to step on him.
BermudaMan, Sure he will be a better hero than Bay’s…SHIApet! To me, Josh Duhamel is the top hero in the…Original Trilogy, that is not…PRIMEd Optimus!
duke fleed, I agree on Josh Duhamel being the top hero, and I’d love to see him do this one, but I still love that they’ve put Mark Wahlberg in the lead, as I think he’s more than capable to be a TransFOURmative Man!
Renen F. Rangel, I want to see Marky Mark surrounded by Decepticons, as Soundwave is blasting some of Marky’s…MuSick, only to have Megatron Stomp him to death, for the grating tunes! I just hope there are other…better movie stars in the film as well.
duke fleed, perhaps Josh Duhamel and Tyreese will return!
Rene F. Rangel, We will have to see who else is cast in Transformers 4! I am surprised there haven’t been any other 70’s or 80’s Super Robot Anime adapted as a live action film.
