
The ninth, and presumably final, episode of Peter Jackson’s video diaries for The Hobbit has surfaced, showing Jackson and his army of post-production zealots toiling around the clock to have the film ready for its world premiere in Wellington, New Zealand, on November 28. In parts informative, in parts whimsical tangents, the video should start getting you at least a little more juiced for the film, which – despite the years of pre-production starts and stops and unending casting news – somehow feels like it has snuck up on me now.

I’m a little nervous about how making movies seems to be becoming more and more indistinguishable from making video games.
I also feel incredibly sorry for the guy at 2:37. “I just stare at code all day…”
