If Side Effects isn’t one of your most anticipated movies of 2013, maybe this trailer can help sway you. Soderbergh’s been on a tear as late, ripping off some of the best work of his career in films like Haywire, Contagion and Magic Mike. That he has yet another film coming out in little over a months time, let alone one that looks as promising as this, is hopefully to our benefit. This trailer indicates the director may be returning to some themes of his earlier works, mainly the interpersonal conflicts of sex and adultery.

Soderbergh is, undoubtedly, a master, but I have to admit that I have no desire to watch any of his films after I have seen them once(maybe The Informant!, if only for Matt Damon’s performance). This looks great and I will definitely see it…but will I watch it more than once? That remains to be seen…at least once…
