It’s only just started filming and The Raid 2 has a batch of exciting images, both of production and of the last film’s heroes sitting bloody in an interrogation room. The Sony Pictures Classics-
backed sequel has a 100 day shoot scheduled and the story will pick up right where the previous film left off.
Reports that literally every stuntman in all of Indonesia is on set and preparing to be broken in half remain unconfirmed at this time.
Recall that this sequel was actually the original pitch for the film, and has been refashioned as a follow-up now that Gareth Evans has given the entire world the biggest murder boner in recent history. The film promises to go bigger, but hopefully won’t lose that intimate ass-kicking charm of the first film. New cast members joining the returning lead Iko Uwais include Putra Arifin Scheunamann, Tio Pakusadewo, Alex Abbad, Roy Marten, and Julie Estell as a character called “Hammer Girl.” I like the sound of that.
Enjoy, and expect plentiful updates about the state of this here motion picture.

I don’t know if it will be helpful to show everything as it is being made. I already want to see the film right now.
The fact that this is going to be the film The Raid should have been if they had the money, gives me hope that they have something really special in store for us.
Expectations are very hgh already.
